A Date with Judy

“The best date you ever had!”

Judy Foster (Jane Powell) wants a date to the high school dance, and she wants it from an older man her best friend Carol Pringle (Elizabeth Taylor) has also got her eye on. Then Judy decides her father, Melvin (Wallace Beery), is carrying on with the beautiful dance instructor Rosita Cochellas (Carmen Miranda). Richard Thorpe shoots it in bright Technicolor, and Judy sets out to prove what she is sure she knows.
