A Daughter Of Destiny

Professor ten Brinken (Paul Wegener) takes the blood of an executed murderer and a prostitute and creates a living girl in his laboratory. She grows into Alraune (Brigitte Helm), a beautiful young woman who feels no guilt, no regret, and no attachment to the men who fall for her. What the film puts in front of us is a person made without the capacity to love, and a scientist who never counted that as a cost.
