A Difficult Year

“What's the worst that could happen to them?”

Albert Laprade (Pio Marmaï) and Bruno Ambrosi (Jonathan Cohen) want out of debt, and neither can stop spending long enough to get there. At a support meeting they meet a group of young green activists and sign up, drawn by the free beer and snacks more than any belief. Toledano and Nakache set two broke, unconvinced men among people who mean every word, and the comedy comes from what each side wants from the other.
