A Dog Year

“Inspiration comes from all walks of life.”

A kennel ships Jon Katz (Jeff Bridges) a border collie that bolts, breaks things and refuses every command, and no one can say whether the dog or the man is the real problem. Jon is a writer who can't write, ignores his phone, and has watched his wife leave for her sister's house. George LaVoo keeps the focus on the animal and the man who rents a drafty farmhouse to give it room, each learning to stay put around the other.
