A Family Submerged

“We are what we hide”

In the weeks after her sister Rina dies, Marcela (Mercedes Morán) moves through her own house as if it belonged to someone else, and her husband and children seem farther away each day. When Nacho, a young friend of her daughter's, drops by unannounced, she starts talking with him and walking beside him. María Alché follows grief as a slow loosening of the ordinary, where the living and the dead begin to share the same rooms.
