A Fish Called Wanda

(1988)Directed by Charles Crichton109 min · RComedy, Crime
“A tale of murder, lust, greed, revenge, and seafood.”

Nobody in the gang knows where the diamonds went, because their leader hid them before he was jailed, and now four thieves who trust one another about as far as they can throw a safe are each working out how to get there first. Wanda Gershwitz (Jamie Lee Curtis) sets her sights on Archie Leach (John Cleese), the leader's barrister, who might know the location. Charles Crichton directs it at a brisk London pace and lets the double-crosses pile up in the open.
