A Five Star Life

“This is your journey. The path is up to you.”

Irene (Margherita Buy) checks into one immaculate resort after another, always under a false name, always alone, rating the sheets and the service against a list on her laptop. Her ex and closest friend Andrea (Stefano Accorsi) is the one person she can count on, and when he stops being available, the routine stops holding. Maria Sole Tognazzi keeps the camera close on Buy's face while the hotels around her stay polished, quiet and empty of anyone who knows her.
