Léa (Bérénice Bejo) sits down and writes a novel, and the book sells at once. Her husband Marc (Vincent Cassel) and their old friends Francis (François Damiens) and Karine (Florence Foresti) have spent years settled into fixed roles with one another. Daniel Cohen films the four of them as a tight group whose habits start to give way once the book is out.
