A Funny Man

“A biography of the Danish actor and comedian, Dirch Passer”

Dirch Passer (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) has become Denmark's favorite comedian almost overnight, and his on-stage partnership with Kjeld Petersen (Lars Ranthe) is the closest friendship he has. Then he takes on Lennie in Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men," and the audience laughs at his first line. Martin Zandvliet follows Dirch through the sixties as he chases respect and the crowd keeps asking for the clown.
