Joe Thanks (Terence Hill), a conman with a talent for disguises, sets out to take $300,000 from Major Cabot (Patrick McGoohan), a cavalry officer who hates Indians. He recruits Bill Locomotiva (Robert Charlebois) and the naive Lucy (Miou-Miou) for a plan full of costumes and chases. Damiano Damiani directs from an idea by Sergio Leone, and the film ends on Joe still looking like a man who knows exactly what he's doing.
