A Ghost Story

“It's all about time.”

C (Casey Affleck) has just died, and all he wants is to get back to the suburban house where his wife, M (Rooney Mara), is grieving. He does, wearing a white bedsheet, but being a ghost has left him unstuck in time. David Lowery keeps him standing in doorways and corners, watching her life move on without him, with no way to touch it or call out.
