A Girl at My Door

“I'll do my best. I'll do anything.”

Yeong-nam (Bae Doona) is a policewoman sent from Seoul to a remote coastal village, a posting she has taken for reasons she keeps to herself. There she gets involved in the life of Do-hee (Kim Sae-ron), a teenage girl beaten by both her father and her grandmother. July Jung sets the story in a small place where everyone knows everyone, and Yeong-nam's decision to take the girl in puts her own standing in the village at risk.
