A Girl Cut in Two

“One man's love is another man's lust.”

Gabrielle Deneige (Ludivine Sagnier) reads the weather on a local TV station, and she is young, open and quick to give her affection. Two rich men want her: Charles Denis (François Berléand), a famous married author who loves her but will not leave his wife, and Paul Gaudens (Benoît Magimel), an unstable heir who wants her more. Claude Chabrol sets her between them, and a woman who trusts easily risks being used by one and broken by the other.
