A Haunting in Venice

“Death was only the beginning.”

Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) has retired to Venice, where he lives in self-imposed exile and turns away the people who come asking for his help. He is talked into a Halloween séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo, and one of the guests is murdered. Kenneth Branagh sets the case among shadows and secrets, and it tests whether a man who trusts only evidence can hold his ground in a house that says the dead are still present.
