A-Haunting We Will Go

(1942)Directed by Alfred L. Werker68 minComedy, Crime
“It baffles the brain! It mystifies the mind! It scintillates the senses! BEFORE YOUR VERY EYES! Gloom turns to gladness when Stan and Ollie get mixed up in murder, mirth...and black magic!”

Two coffins that look exactly alike end up in the wrong hands, and one of them is not empty. Stan (Stan Laurel) and Ollie (Oliver Hardy) get pulled into the mix of crooks, con men and a genial magician named Dante, and Alfred L. Werker keeps every one of them moving. It is a comedy about two decent, hopeless men who never grasp how much trouble they are in.
