“They had nothing... and tried to find their dream.”

Frances Lacey (Kathy Bates), a widow in 1962 Los Angeles, wants one thing for her six children: a house that belongs to them. She packs the family up and heads for the small town of Hankston, Idaho, where Shayne (Edward Furlong), the eldest, starts to carry more than a boy should. Tony Bill's film is about how much a family will lean on a roof and four walls.
