A Kind of Murder
Walter Stackhouse (Patrick Wilson), a successful architect in 1960s New York, wants out of his marriage to Clara (Jessica Biel) and cannot stop reading about Kimmel (Eddie Marsan), a man accused of killing his own wife. Andy Goddard, adapting Patricia Highsmith's novel The Blunderer, puts Walter and Kimmel in the same room while a police detective starts watching them both. The film is about how a wish you never act on can still leave you looking guilty.
