A Kiss Before Dying

“Loving him was easy. Trusting him was deadly.”

Jonathan Corliss (Matt Dillon) is a college student who wants money badly enough to court Dorothy Carlsson, the daughter of a rich industrialist, in secret. When she tells him she is pregnant and that her father (Max von Sydow) will cut her off if he finds out, Jonathan makes her death look like suicide. James Dearden follows him as he works his way onto the Carlsson payroll, a man who has settled on what he is owed.
