“IT'S SCREWY...And So Funny! IT'S RIOTOUS...And Romantic!”

Molly J. Truesdale (Jean Arthur) is a New York working girl who boards a bus tour of the West, hoping to leave her city suitors behind. At a rodeo she meets Duke Hudkins (John Wayne), a cowboy with a slow, easy way of talking. William A. Seiter sets the whole thing in motion with Arthur on the tour bus, the crowd at the rodeo, and Wayne in the saddle.
