A Land Imagined

“Land. Labour. Love. Loss.”

Lok (Peter Yu), a Singapore police investigator who barely sleeps, is assigned to find Wang (Liu Xiaoyi), a Chinese migrant construction worker who has vanished. What he turns up is a man who spent his own sleepless nights playing a mysterious video game, among the other workers, in a city built by people like him. Yeo Siew Hua follows Lok through the hours before dawn, until the search starts to cost him more of his own nights.
