A Life Less Ordinary

“Kidnapping. Blackmail. Extortion. Karaoke. What some people will do for love.”

Robert Lewis (Ewan McGregor) wants out of his life as a janitor, and getting fired only makes the wanting worse. He answers by kidnapping Celine Naville (Cameron Diaz), the daughter of his former boss Mr. Naville (Ian Holm), while two angels, O'Reilly (Holly Hunter) and Jackson (Delroy Lindo), are sent down to see whether love can take hold between the two. Danny Boyle sets the whole thing up as a bet that a kidnapping might lead two strangers to love.
