A Little Chaos

(2015)Directed by Alan Rickman117 min · RDrama, Romance
“From incredible passion grows incredible beauty.”

Why would the most celebrated landscape architect in France hand a piece of Versailles to a gardener nobody at court has heard of? Sabine De Barra (Kate Winslet) gets the commission from Andre Le Notre (Matthias Schoenaerts), and with it comes the rivalry of the court of Louis XIV (Alan Rickman). Rickman, directing for the second time, stages the building of the gardens as slow, patient work.
