A Little Help

Laura Pehlke (Jenna Fischer), a dental hygienist on Long Island in the summer of 2002, wants her house, her son and her days to feel steady again after her unfaithful husband Bob (Chris O'Donnell) dies suddenly. Michael J. Weithorn sets her grief inside the lingering shock of 9/11. Her mother Joan (Lesley Ann Warren) is a constant presence, and the two of them circle each other, each trying to help in a way the other can't quite take.
