A Little Princess

“No miracle is ever too small.”

Sara Crewe (Liesel Matthews) wants to hold on to the stories her father told her, even after he leaves to fight in the First World War and sends her to the New York boarding school her late mother attended. There she runs into Miss Minchin (Eleanor Bron), a severe headmistress who tries to flatten her imagination. Alfonso Cuarón sets Sara beside Becky (Vanessa Lee Chester), a girl at the school who has nothing, and the two lean on each other.
