(2005)Directed by Baltasar Kormákur98 min · RDrama, Thriller
“There is no such thing as a no fault death.”

In 1985, a small town in rural Minnesota is the last place an insurance investigator expects to spend his week. Abe Holt (Forest Whitaker) arrives to look into a claim on a horrific car accident, and the wreck looks a little too perfect to him. Baltasar Kormákur has Holt pressing the widow Isold (Julia Stiles) and her husband Fred (Jeremy Renner), and then Fred's grin stays with you.
