A Magnificent Haunting

Pietro (Elio Germano), an aspiring actor, moves into a spacious apartment and finds he has company: eight ghosts who treat the place as theirs. Ferzan Özpetek lets them wander in and out of the rooms with the ease of long-term tenants, and Pietro keeps trying to work out who they are and why they stay. Most of the film happens around one table, set for the people who were already there.
