A Man Called Ove

“Misery hates company.”

Every morning Ove (Rolf Lassgård) walks the terraced street and checks the gates and the parking signs, though the neighbours voted him out as head of the condominium association. Then Parvaneh (Bahar Pars) moves in across the way, pregnant and cheerful, and backs her car into his mailbox. Hannes Holm lets Ove's rules slip a little at a time, and he can't quite shut the door on any of it.
