“Love is possible when it's impossible.”

In Paris, Gaspard (Nicolas Duvauchelle) runs a club on a barge and sings in it, and he has stopped believing in love. One night he finds Lula (Marilyn Lima), a mermaid, hurt on the quay and takes her home to his bathtub. Mathias Malzieu keeps her there among the club's regulars, Gaspard's spare hands moving over her, the water in the tub barely settled.
