“Spend it with the ones you loathe”

Boyd Mitchler (Joel McHale) has brought his wife and son to spend Christmas with the family he stopped speaking to years ago, and he realizes every one of the boy's presents is still sitting at home. The only fix is an eight-hour round trip before sunrise, with his father riding along. Tristram Shapeero puts the two of them in a car overnight, with a lot of road and one long unfinished argument between them.
