A Midsummer Night's Dream

“Love makes fools of us all.”

On a moonlit night in the woods of Greece, four young lovers run off into the trees, and Nick Bottom (Kevin Kline) and his friends slip in after them to rehearse a play. The forest belongs to the fairies, Titania (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Oberon (Rupert Everett), who have their own quarrel, and to Puck (Stanley Tucci), who takes orders and sometimes mixes them up. Michael Hoffman builds a story where nobody loves the person who loves them back.
