A Million Miles Away

“It takes more than a dream to reach the stars.”

José Hernández (Michael Peña) grows up in a family of Mexican migrant farmworkers, following the harvests with his parents and picking crops beside them as a boy. Alejandra Márquez Abella tracks him from the fields into engineering, where he fixes on becoming an astronaut. His wife, Adela (Rosa Salazar), and their children stand beside him, and everything they have is riding on a goal that keeps closing its doors.
