A Moment of Romance

Wah Dee (Andy Lau) is a young Triad member who takes a girl hostage while escaping a jewelry heist. She is Jo Jo (Jacklyn Wu Chien-Lien), from a respectable family, and she has no reason to trust him. Benny Chan puts the two of them together long enough that fear gives way to tenderness, and the film is about how love between people from opposite worlds has to be paid for.
