A New Kind of Love

Steve Sherman (Paul Newman) is a down-and-out reporter who has landed in Paris with little money and a lot of nerve. There he meets Samantha Blake (Joanne Woodward), a fashion designer who runs her working life with a firm hand. Melville Shavelson plays the two of them against each other in that city, and the question that matters is whether she can ever be what he is looking for.
