A New Love in Tokyo

“Life, love, sex, work, play… there are so many ways to tie them up.”

Two women in Tokyo sell their evenings, Rei (Sawa Suzuki) as a dominatrix and Ayumi (Reiko Kataoka) as a call girl, and the film wants to know what each of them goes home to. Banmei Takahashi follows Rei into an amateur theatre troupe, where she rehearses beside the receptionist from Ayumi's escort service. Ayumi, meanwhile, shares a flat with a student boyfriend still failing to get into college, and the two women's lives keep brushing past each other.
