A Private Life

In Paris, Lilian Steiner (Jodie Foster) is a respected psychiatrist whose practice runs on discretion, until a patient dies suddenly and she becomes convinced it was murder. Rebecca Zlotowski sends her into a private investigation with a mismatched group of helpers, among them her ex-husband Gabriel Haddad (Daniel Auteuil). Lilian has spent years listening to other people's secrets, and now the person closest to her history has to decide how far he will follow her.
