Blind creatures with acute hearing hunt anything that makes a sound in a world where silence means survival. Evelyn Abbott (Emily Blunt) and Lee Abbott (John Krasinski) move through their house in careful steps, their children following in practiced quiet, knowing a creaking floorboard or a cry could bring the creatures down.
