A River Called Titas

A woman is pulled back from river bandits who had abducted her, and the Malo fishing community along the Titas does not know what to make of her. Basanti (Rosy Afsary) chooses to raise a child alone, against the community's firm customs around marriage and motherhood. Ritwik Ghatak sets her choice beside a river and a way of life that are both close to running out.
