A Room for Romeo Brass

Romeo Brass (Andrew Shim) and his best friend Gavin are twelve and living in the Nottinghamshire town of Calverton. Then Morell (Paddy Considine) turns up, a stranger who befriends both boys and asks them to help him win over Romeo's older sister, Ladine (Vicky McClure). Shane Meadows shot most of it in Calverton, with one trip to the seaside at Chapel St. Leonards, and Morell is still there when the boys are not looking.
