A Run for Money

Selim (Taner Birsel), a menswear shop owner in his early forties, finds a bag in the back of a cab and opens it to about 500,000 dollars in cash. He is a careful spender who learned young that money is hard to come by, and he has no patience for small tricks. Reha Erdem sets him in his Istanbul back street, his flat and his family, with Ayla (Bennu Yıldırımlar), his small daughter and his old father all depending on the honest man he has always been.
