A Safe Place

Susan (Tuesday Weld) is a young woman living alone in New York, seeing two very different men at once, Fred (Phil Proctor) and Mitch (Jack Nicholson). Neither one can give her all she needs, and Henry Jaglom lets her drift between them and her own memories without much plot to hold on to. Orson Welles turns up as a magician, and the quiet pull is between Susan and the girl she used to be.
