A Silent Voice: The Movie

“Sometimes the answer is as simple as learning to listen.”

Shouya Ishida (Miyu Irino) torments the new girl in his elementary class, Shouko Nishimiya (Saori Hayami), because she is deaf, until the classmates who laughed along turn on him instead. Years later he is a lonely teenager carrying what he did, and he goes looking for her. Naoko Yamada follows him toward that meeting, where one clumsy attempt to apologize might be all that he gets.
