A Simple Life

Ah Tao (Deanie Ip) has kept house for the same Hong Kong family for decades, and she is now the only one left who still does the cooking. After a stroke, she tells Roger Leung (Andy Lau) she wants to quit and move into an old people's home. Ann Hui follows the two of them as he, who has never had to look after her, must decide how much of his own life he is willing to give back.
