A Slave of Love

Olga Voznesenskaya (Yelena Solovey) is a silent film star admired so fiercely that revolutionaries will risk capture just to watch her on the screen. During the Russian Civil War, her crew keeps shooting a melodrama while the production runs into one complication after another. Nikita Mikhalkov follows Olga, the cameraman Viktor Pototskiy (Rodion Nahapetov) and the people around them, as the war presses closer to the set.
