A Sort of Family

Malena (Bárbara Lennie) is a 38-year-old doctor in Buenos Aires when the call comes one afternoon from Dr. Costas (Daniel Aráoz): the baby she has been waiting for is about to be born, far away in the north of the country. Diego Lerman sends her on that journey almost at once, and it runs into legal and moral obstacles she did not plan for. At each new crossroads she has to decide how far she is willing to go.
