A Stork's Journey

“Their adventure is the destination.”

A sparrow raised in a stork's nest grows up certain he is a stork, until migration season arrives and the family has to tell him the truth and fly south without him. Richard (Tilman Döbler) sets off alone for Africa to prove them wrong, and picks up Olga (Nicolette Krebitz), an owl with an imaginary friend, and Kiki (Christian Gaul), a disco-singing parakeet. Toby Genkel directs it as a road trip with the three of them squabbling.
