“In a dangerous world of mystery and intrigue, she's going undercover searching for the truth.”

Detective Emily Eden (Melanie Griffith), a tough New York cop, goes undercover to solve a murder that has stalled the investigation. The trail leads her into a Hasidic community, a closed world with its own unwritten law, where Ariel (Eric Thal) is among those who know her best. Sidney Lumet films the neighborhood as a place Emily has to learn from the outside in.
