A Swedish Love Story

Two teenagers, Pär (Rolf Sohlman) and Annika (Ann-Sofie Kylin), fall for each other in 1970 Sweden, and they seem not to notice anything outside their own two heads. Around them the grown-ups keep struggling with lives of their own, among them Annika's father (Bertil Norström) and Pär's father (Lennart Tellfelt). Roy Andersson, in his first feature, lets that quiet gap sit open, and Pär keeps looking at Annika.
