A Time for Dying

“Only he knew it was...a time for dying”

Cass Bunning (Richard Lapp) is a farm boy who rides into town wanting to make his name as a bounty hunter. Instead he finds Nellie Winters (Anne Randall), a woman tricked into working in the local brothel, and takes her out of there to carry her toward his father's ranch. Budd Boetticher puts them on the open trail with Judge Roy Bean (Victor Jory) somewhere in the territory, and Cass has to find out whether he's the man he's been practicing to be.
