A Touch of Class

“They had the perfect love affair. Until they fell in love.”

Steve Blackburn (George Segal) is an American in London with a wife, children and a settled routine until he meets Vicki Allessio (Glenda Jackson), an English divorcée. The two slip off to Marbella for a week meant to be nothing but sex, then come back and set up a tidy arrangement of their own in London. Melvin Frank shoots Spain in bright, bleached sunlight and lets the comedy run loose, with the ache of a second life underneath.
