In Vietnam, a travel executive named Amanda Riley (Rachael Leigh Cook) arrives undercover to study the tourist trade, fresh off a breakup she didn't see coming. Her guide is Sinh Thach (Scott Ly), an expat who knows the country better than the itinerary does. Steven K. Tsuchida sends them off the printed route, and the two of them sit side by side on a hijacked tour bus.
